Hurricane season is here.

I am sure for some of you the past few days have been hard to watch unfold. Hurricane Harvey hit Texas with enough force to make it one of the worst Hurricanes to hit the United States in years. As I write this, the rain is still pouring down and the water levels are still rising. Some of you may remember the devastating hurricanes that impacted us here in the Susquehanna Valley, i.e. Tropical Storm Lee in 2011 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Both of these events affected us here at Stone and Edwards Insurance Agency as we battled our own rising flood waters in the basement at our office.

This brings me to ask…..are you prepared if such an event hits us again? Check out this link for a list of items to keep on hand. I guess my years of girl scouting really did teach me to always be prepared.
